Venerable Shuei Cheng from China Visits Fo Guan Shan and Nanhua University
On September 12, 2017, Nanhua University held a ceremony for honorary doctorates at Fo Guang Shan. At that time, an “Honorary Doctor of Management Science” was presented to Venerable Shuei Cheng, who is president of the Buddhist Association of China. This honorary degree was to promote his virtues and professionalism as a moral role model for students. On September 13, 2017, the Venerable and the other 22 delegates came to Nanhua University to visit and attend a conference including sessions related to “The Joy of Tea Making” and “Tea Culture Symposium”. All guests could experience the life and culture of tea, art, and humanitarianism.
